Whewwwww! I know yall haven’t really heard from me on here at all! Sorrrry viewers! I’ve walked on a path which goes by the name of school! lol No complaints tho I’m blessed to be in attendence to all my class. Yall are prolly wondering how was my 20th birthday & what did I do? Welp! To me 20 is one of those ages where, your just a year older nothing to special lol I actually think that we should celebrate life each & everyday just not on birthdays cause as we all know! Living, breathing & creating is a privilege & is not to be taken for granted. On my birthday day, I woke up feeling like s.h.i.t like terrible, then i grabbed bella mac & logged in on twitter & facebook, the everyday routine lol I get on & read just about 1,000 birthday wishes. After seeing that I was like “Geia get your ass up!” lol Then in walks my mother with a diamond ring! Im like wooooooooooooord! lmao later that day my Nigerian sisters came over & we ordered all kinda pizza, pasta, & wings! Good times! Good Food! Good Company! & a week later I’m here talking to you guys! lol Also! I believe that I will be blogging on more websites & I’m in the process of starting the “launch” of duckiespond.com (not sure if the name will change or if it will) Other creative things are planned also! Duckeey X CoCo & Breezy Interview

1. For the viewers who may not know you, tell us a lil bit about you lovely girls.
We are 19 year old identical twins from Minnesota who moved to NY with nothing but faith and the dream.

2. I know you get this alot but just for the viewers, but how did the names Coco & Breezy come about?
We were always called Coco&&Breezy by our parents so the name just stuck around.

3. When in the growing up state did you girls just immediately know that fashion & style was your niche?
Yes!!, certainly we were always interested in Fashion and Style. We have had our own unique sense of style since growing up. In addition we’ve loved designing and just recently got very serious about it.

4. Now this question is more of a personal one, i have a sister & we are like inseparable! I always say I thank god for having a sister cause I feel like I was blessed with a lifetime best friend. Do you girls look at it the same way?
Of course, so far in New York we’ve become inseparable. Sisterly love is truly the best because you can both trust eachother with the whole journey. That person will always stick with you no matter what goes down.

5. I see you girls love piercings, as i do (lol) How many did you have & are there any stories behind them?
7 piercings each. Ears were pierced when we were babies. at 13 we experimented with a ear piercing gun and pierced our nose. 15 we had our friend pierced our bellybutton but mom and dad didnt approve so we went to get it done professionally. We did have a monroe and nose pierced but we took them out when we got our lip pierced to look more professional. Were true rebels at heart.

6. I recently found out that you girls are also dancers! How Awesome! When did you girls start dancing?
we started dancing seriously at about 13, opening big shows for major artists and winning talent shows. We stopped around 17 because we wanted to move into a career thats going to last us for a lifetime.

7. When did you girls start designing things?
We’ve always been desining. Mom and Dad got us our first sewing machines at 10 and from then we’ve always had a interest and passion.

8. What is your greatest inspiration when it comes down to designing & producing?
Starting from the bottom and working our way up top, knowing we came to NY with a struggle it inspired us to work hard because this is what we came here to do. Our struggle inspires everyday.

9. I know you girls love New York & everything it has to offer, sometimes do you miss Minnesota?
We only miss our families but we didnt have many true friends in Minnesota, more aquantices.

10. Whats your everyday routine or just a day in the life of Coco & Breezy?
Wake up, answer emails, design, meetings, think about our master plan on how we’re going to take over the world, take a power nap ( 30 mins) then get right back to work!

11. Are there any hobbies that you guys enjoy that the world doesn’t know about? (mysterious face) lol
Eating, we love eating its like a sport (yes we r skinnny! but love food!). Traveling and exploring, we always have a layover to just check out whats there.

12. Since fashion is yall passion, if each of you could paint a picture of your ideal outfit what would it be
Leather studs and all black everything (jay-z voice)

13. What would you girls say is your biggest motivation to just keep pushing from day to day & just making it?
Our support, our fans and family. they just keep our spirits up high and motivate us to keep working hard.

14. Any hardships or bumps in the road yall had to endure to get to where you are today?
Yes, just haters in general and not respecting us in what we do.Being compared to Rihanna and etc. but its who we are since we were little. We dont let anything bring us down, we set a goal and do whatever it takes to go for it!

15. Any words of wisdom you live by & any words of encouragement to other desingers & stylist trying to make it?
You have to start from the bottom and struggle. the struggle is what gets you, you need to have a story to make it and build from it.

16. I know you get this question alot! “Can yall take the shades off?”, whats your response to that question, & what inspired the production of the glasses?
HECK NO! lol ..haha nah we dont take our glasses off for anyone. when people ask “Can i see your eyes, take your glasses off” … we rudly say “NO!” lol they dont come off. With our glasses on we are a whole nother person. What inspired & the reson why we do where glasses is that we have always had a different style all of our life, and people just stared, and talked ish about us. So we used glasses to cover our eyes as our shield.

17. Last but not least, what do you girls think about geyahsblog ?
DOPE!

Maestro Knows – Episode 4 (Bun B)

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta tell ya! I watched this before going to class & while running late. I said I havvvvvve to go back & speak on it! So I begin! I don’t know if I can put into words how much I love both of these guys! Bun is like the mayor of our Houston youth we really cut for him & show him love cuz he always shows Houston love & shows the rest of the world what Houston is all about. You know how some artist rep a “hood” or a city & you have never seen them & your like, “Where are you from again?” lol I see Bun everywhere even got the chance to go to a video shoot of his & I’ve also seen him other places. All my viewers know Im a huge supporter of Maestro, if you prolly type in his name on wordpress I’m sure I’m gonna pop up lol He’s great at what he does & Im so happy I had a chance to meet him. Maestro & Bun are really similar in the way that they interact with there supporters, two awesome guys! “You gotta know when you can win & when you can lose, but you gotta make sure that you fight the good fight.” Bun B. & thanks maestro for the birthday wishes! “My Birthday’s Tomorrow!”

WOW! I can’t believe my birthday is tomorrow! Seems like your waiting & waiting until the day comes but this year it snuck up on me! lol Whhhhhew! I don’t really have any big huggge elaborate plans! I think Im gonna hold off on that until my 21st birthday lol Maybe Vegas, maybe not! lol I must confess yesterday I wondered to a spa website & found myself looking @ the different type of massages they have, some of yall are prolly like WHAT!? Your to young for all this lmao Old bodies young bodies we all take the everyday hustle & bustle! Last year me & my boyfriend @ the time did it real big lol Shopping spree, dinner, party & this HUGE cake! lol aka “wedding cake” as my family called it lol! Anywho! Just a headsup! All I really want is a new phone “blackberry” or a new camera “Latest Cannon Rebel” & I will happy! & Maybe some sushi!
